Eastleigh BSAC  Try a Dive Scheme

Want to try it without committing to membership or a training programme?

Why not try a dive at Fleming Park Swimming Pool, where you will experience the sensation of breathing underwater for the first time, whilst accompanied and supervised by one of our qualified instructors.

Our Try-Dives cost £15, you will only need what you would normally wear swimming (we recommend wearing a tee shirt as well, but we supply the equipment), and will last around one hour, including a briefing and debriefing.  You will need to be in good health, reasonably fit and be able to swim.  Persons under 16 years of age will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian who must be in the water at the same time.  Further requirements can be provided by the try-a-dive coordinator (see below).

If you decide to join our club after your try-dive, we will deduct the cost of the try-dive from your first year's membership.  You can then go on to one of our training courses, see the training and events page of this site.
