Aeolian Sky
The photograph below shows Karen (secretary), Pete (Chariman), and Nigel (Marketing) on the sea bed at around 30m at the very bottom of the stern of the Aeolian Sky, a Greek freighter that sunk in 1979 after a collision. This dive was undertaken as one of our many day trips in the Dorset Area. During this day, we first dived on the wreck of the bow section of the Black Hawk (a Liberty Ship sunk in 1944 off Portland, where the stern section still lies, we dived the bow section in Worbarrow Bay) then the Aeolian Sky, then we went on to dive a barge sunk near the nature trail.
