We has 20 one day diving trips to the coast with club boats, launching from Portsmouth to Portland.
We also dived at sites during the winter when the sea is too rough and less predicable and when going to specific training or experience dives. We had 2 days diving at Stoney Cove (leicestershire) over Christmas and one other trip to Stoney cove. We did 3 trips to Vobster Quay (Somerset) and 2 trips to the National Diving Centre at Chepstow, and 3 trips to Horsea Island (Portsmouth).
We dived a lot of rocky reefs, many as second dive of the day. Some of these were in the tide, which can take a diver over the ground at a considerable speed.
We dived many wrecks: 4 in Poole Bay, 3 in Portland Harbour, 3 off Portland, 4 in Pembroke, 4 off Kimmeridge, 5 off Lyme Regis, and 8 from Plymouth.
Club members have also dived a lot of other sites at home and abroad extra to the club organised diving, including Scapa Flow, Scotland, Red Sea, and various sites in the Mediterranean and Southa Africa.
In 2003, there was a similar amount of diving, with some different wrecks and locations but a good broad spectrum of diving.
This year's diving is published on the Diving, Training and Social Events page, but most of the weekend diving is organised on the Tuesday evening preceding the weekend.
